Aversion to Inversion

The prototype is shortly going off to be wired and programmed for flight by the sort of people who build commercial drones for a living, to which extent I set out to make it as practical as possible. As a result the motors are fixed to the topside instead of inverted beneath the frame, although it remains clear that the design might still accommodate eight power units too.

The electronics are also accessible topside with the operator raised upon a flight-deck and the battery-pack beneath the seat instead of suspended below the airframe. The seat is removable so that the drone may be tested independently (or indeed sold) as a general-purpose machine.

Meantimes there's one more mod to the seating platform to be made before delivery, but all in all a good day's work. The 'bed-knobs' allow the airframe to be overturned for maintenance with the propellers still attached.
